In early 2009, the opportunity arose for Cubic Creations to help with the development of a new browser based game. Using Galava's game engine as a starting point, a futuristic combat simulator was constructed and released to the public in mid April 2009.
The game was retired on September 4th, 2009.
Development of Galava began in the summer of 2007. This large-scale project intended to provide players with a much deeper experience than Lunar Wars, allowing them to simulate running their own highly customizable medieval empire.

Alessandro Bassi had the vision to build a "Lunar Colony" simulator as an experiment to teach himself web development. On February 18th, 2007, after a couple months of development, the public beta opened up and was an instant success.
